Santa's Grand Entrance

We are beginning to build the story of Santa in Ian's little mind. This evening, we asked him how he thought Santa got into the house. The answer was obvious to him - the door - and seemed annoyed that we didn't already know that. When we told him he actually enters through the chimney, he turned to look at the fireplace, and said, "Oooohhhh..." as if it was beginning to make sense. He also thinks he will actually get to see and talk to Santa when he comes. When we told him that Santa comes when we are all asleep, he said, "No, no, no. Santa comes when I'm awake!" Christmas is going to be a lot of fun this year!
