They Might Be Giants

On our way to visit Nana and Papa today, we were having a conversation about trains, which led to talking about Kiddieland, which led to talking about the zoo, which led to talking about giants, which led to talking about God and Jesus. I'm sure it seems very logical in the mind of a 4-year-old.

Mommy: "I've never actually seen a giant before. Have you?"
Ian: "There are only two giants in this world. Do you know who they are?"
Mommy: "No. Who?"
Ian: "God and Jesus. But, they are friendly giants who love us very much. They would never hit us in the face or anything."
Mommy: "You're right. They do love us very much."

Ian went on to explain to Garrett and Brennan about God and Jesus. "They are giants, but they don't live on Earth. They live up in the sky and can see everything... even Chicago and Florida! We can't see them, but they're there, and they love us."
